Sanctuary in Chichester Trustee Mike Mansergh has successfully completed the Great South Run. Mike finished the race in an impressive 1 hour and 18 minutes, and his fundraising efforts (as well as endurance!) have really gone the extra mile.
Fundraising Update
Mike’s fundraising page has already collected £1263, and donations are still incoming. The page will remain open for a few more days for those who still wish to contribute, please do here.
What’s Next?
The funds raised will go a long way in supporting the work we do here at Sanctuary in Chichester. From providing essential basics to asylum seekers to paying for essentials to help refugees into work, every pound raised makes a real difference – especially as our staffing costs are paid for through grants, which we are extremely grateful for, and means that all other donations go directly to those we support.
A Big Thank You from Mike Himself
“I did the run largely due to the enormous generosity and kindness of so many in supporting my fundraising effort. Sanctuary in Chichester will be extremely appreciative of the many donations I have received. I would like to thank everyone for showing such interest in our small, but vitally important charity in Chichester, which is helping look after increasing numbers of traumatised people arriving in our area. Thank you all!”
