Over £400,000 funding granted by The National Lottery Community Fund

We’re absolutely delighted and extremely grateful to annouce that The National Lottery Community Fund has pledged us a grant of just over £400,000 spread across three years, to fund much of our overheads during the grant period.

Sanctuary in Chichester Chair Tony Toynton said, “This funding will ensure that most of our general operating costs are covered for the next three years, and allow us to dedicate the majority of the generous donations we continue to receive from the local community, directly to supporting refugees and asylum seekers in the Chichester area.”

Sanctuary in Chichester was awared this grant from the Community Fund’s Reaching Communities project, that funds charities like ours to support places, people or communities experiencing poverty, disadvantage or discrimination. We are honoured that the Community Fund recognises the importance of our work in this field, in the Chichester area.

Thank you to the Community Fund from everyone at Sanctuary in Chichester!
