Saying Farewell to James Field

We are very thankful to James Field for all he has done as our Asylum Hotel Support Coordinator, and – while we are sorry to see him go when he leaves us at the end of July – we wish him all the very best in his new role.

James has been a friend of Sanctuary in Chichester since the charity was formed, as a volunteer and in supporting our work and refugee children while he was a headteacher at a local primary school, before taking on the full-time coordination of our work at the hotel.

Sanctuary in Chichester Chair Tony Toynton said, “James is a hugely respected and important member of our team and will be sorely missed. He has provided crucial support to some of the most vulnerable people in our community and for that we thank him and wish him every success in his next chapter.”

We look forward to potentially working with James in future, as he takes up his new role with West Sussex County Council’s Resettlement Team.
