If you are, or have been, a teacher and happen to have some spare time, Sanctuary in Chichester would really appreciate you joining our team of volunteer teachers offering support to refugee children attending local schools.
WHEN: one session after school per week.
WHERE: a choice of Bishop Luffa School, Chichester High School, Felpham Community College and possibly others. Lessons held at the schools.
WHAT IT INVOLVES: working with – ideally – the same pupils each week and supporting them with their educational gaps and whatever else their teachers may specify.
ALSO: please consider whether you would like to focus on a particular subject of your expertise, or support them with reading or general homework.
