Katy De Lazslo joined us in March, to replace Rosie as Business & Volunteer Coordinator. Katy has an MA from SOAS in Near and Middle Eastern Studies and is governor of a school in Hackney. She has quickly got to grips with everything that’s going on at Sanctuary in Chichester and – among many other things – is busy supporting a group of new volunteers through the recruitment process.

Rosie left the role for a full-time position with The Body Shop’s Activism team but she but she has stayed on with Sanctuary in Chichester as a much valued volunteer, running our new GCSE support programme for unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and young refugees.
